DESCRIPTION:Treat your budding chef to five days full of hands-on cooking fun! In our all-new Spring Series designed for ages 7-11\, your child will learn to become more creative and confident in the kitchen. As they chop veggies\, knead pasta dough\, temper chocolate and more\, they’ll learn cooking and baking techniques\, essential food prep skills and best practices for kitchen safety—all guided by an expert chef instructor. At the end of the week\, each student goes home with a printed menu\, graduation certificate and skills to use for a lifetime. \nWhat To Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun\, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. \n\nClasses are 2 hours\, unless otherwise noted above\nYou will work with other students in groups of 5.\nHands-on classes are limited to 16-20 students\, depending on location.\nYou will be standing\, cooking and working for most of the class\nPlease wear comfortable\, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back\nStudents receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class\n\nSur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles\, including various fruits and vegetables\, nuts\, meats\, spices\, wheat flours\, etc. If you have a food allergy\, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
