Chocolate Macaron Workshop with Sur La Table
Cooking Class Description: In 1660, King Louis XIV of France ate macarons at his wedding and elevated them to their current popularity. In our hands-on class, you’ll make triple-chocolate macarons dipped in chocolate and chocolate macarons with a decadent coffee buttercream filling. You’ll try your hand at whipping meringue and mixing batter to deliver crisp shells packed with cocoa flavor. Once the shells are ready, you’ll learn how to pipe in the fillings to create delicate macarons that will impress any guest.
