Description

Our family-owned local lifestyle brand is looking for a retail associate who enjoys working with customers selling and promoting awesome products. The retail associate position will assist customers by providing recommendations, answering questions and creating one of a kind jewelry for customers. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail has the ability to get creative making jewelry and has a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they shop within a store.
• Answer questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locate items.
• Can assist in our custom create “Factory” section of the store. Helping customers create one-of-a-kind pieces.
• Knows how/willing to learn to make jewelry and work with hand tools, prior experience is a plus.
• Has knowledge about the company and mission and can help make the environment feel fun and comfortable.
• Assist in maintaining the back-stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Capture fun Instagram moments within the store with customers to share on companies’ social channels.
• Will help with finishing all custom jewelry and home goods items.
• Help promote our products on social media.
• Utilize the company’s POS system to handle customer purchases
• Collaborate with team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma/GED required
• 2+ years’ customer service industry experience
• Must be friendly, social and have a positive attitude
• Ability to work well on a team
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
